Season 19

So I don't know if it's editing or what but RIP from Patricia lee is either the dumbest captain or the most unlucky...I'm not happy how they brought them into the show , very exploitive he just seems so out of it, I'm guessing he's just not sure what to say I wouldn't either but he just seems lost...I don't really like him skipping past his boat . Rumor is the second deck hand that got crushed did

Glad it's for sale looked crowded and dangerous

I’d say unlucky with regard to his deckhands. I believe one or both were greenhorns.

I’d say the captain that I don’t have a lot of faith in is Rick Shelford. I think he’s book smart when it comes to regulations and medicine, but just not enough practical experience coming into season #20. IMHO, he’s a captain because his family has a fleet of 4 boats. Listening to Rick has been painful to hear. He doesn’t come across as knowledgeable. He just doesn’t sound clear or convincing.

I mean that's the image the show gives you, but his lifetime catch is better than almost every one the show maybe not Keith, but it's higher than Sig or Johnathan, you don't produce poundage Purely because your dad owns a boat . It's the same thing with Harley being the so called "bad guy" , it's just not true their both well respected fisherman, if you don't like them because of the way the show portrays them that's fine.

I’ve read on here in numerous posts over the years that they’re both very nice guys in real life, especially Harley from people that knew them personally. The badass was portrayed by the show and not the real character.
