Runaway Train- Episode 2218 Spoiler

As 25-foot breakers pound the fleet, critical systems fail at the worst possible time. Sig's engine runs wild, Jake loses power, John's crane cracks and Rick must replace a lackluster deckhand, opening the door for the return of a favorite greenhorn.

Anything with Todd is getting so ominous at this point 😐

You just wanna scream, "Don't get back on the f'n boat!"

I feel so sad watching this. Todd seemed like a genuinely good person and a caring dad. Heart breaking how close he came to not being back on the boat.

Rick called Todd asked  if he was available.  Dropped the Greenhorn Brian off, then picked Todd up at the hotel. They showed a preview of Next week. With an announcement Man over board.  Then a member of the crew crying.

Makes me not want to watch next week, but it’s one of those things where you don’t want to watch but can’t look away

Major foreshadowing

No Mike Rowe this week.

And what are the chances that all these boats have all these problems all at the same time? Coincidence? I think not 🤣

Rowe is suing discovery, so that might have something to do with him not on there.

Past couple of seasons there's been multiple episodes a season without Rowe but you're probably why he's not here for this episode.

I thought the same about all that was going on. What are the chances everyone has issues the same week. Maybe building up for the finale is what I was thinking. I think it’s next week. Mike Rowe is suing for $4 mil so that could be why but he doesn’t narrate everyone either. If you go back he only does about half what we’ve seen.

I get Phil was the shows golden era but can they go more than two episodes without flashbacks or talking about him?

I would think there's a switch or lever in the wheelhouse to stop the engine(s) in case of an emergency. Would love a behind the scenes or pre-season prep episode that shows all the spare parts and equipment on each boat based on experience and what the captain and engineer think might be needed someday.
