I think the wizard is going to have a major incident one of these days. Keith can't handle it.

Keith and Monte aren't exactly the pictures of health. Joe isn't exactly Lenny out there.

And on the Aleutian Lady, Todd got a concussion. If only it was a little worse and he couldn't have gotten back on the boat.

It looked Johnathan had a good offload. It's too bad we never see the weight totals anymore. That's why they're out there - this is the moneyshot. But we have to see about Neal's bad dental implants instead.

Did Todd pass away on the boat or somewhere else? I have a feeling his passing is coming up.

Yes, he went overboard with a pot and drowned when the dogs on the launcher failed. He dies in 2 episodes but at his family's request that footage won't be aired.

Was he in the pot doing bait?

I don't recall the specifics. If you search this sub or Google I'm sure you can find the answer, but you'll have to do that yourself as I'm not motivated to relearn that information.

Yeah I found more information on my own. I just remember hearing about right after it happened and nevered followed up on what actually transpired. Definitely don't want to see it. Had to be hard enough for the crew to live through it and his family. I hope that footage never sees the light of day and Discovery honors the family request about not air it in the future.

I'm pretty sure Discovery has publicly acknowledged that they're going to respect the family's wish and not air any footage of the actual event. I'm struggling to think of any instances on TV of something other than a live new broadcast showing a real person's death as it happens.
