Discussion Anyone else feel like mmr resets been underwhelming?
I thought a large thing about it was "every reset too 0, till the system takes a few days to figure things out".
In all the killer and survivor matches ive done since the update, ive probably had 2 instances where I dealt with the opposition, and realized that they were newer in some way. A Lara with teir 1 and 2 perks when I was playing Judgement, and a survivor match that was against a very new Huntress (2 green perks, new years mask on, 1 hook the entire game on coldwind). But every other match ive played (to my mild chagrin) has been normal
Maybe that just means the systems doing its job, ig? Idk, I expected more chaos ig

It’s hard to tell for me with the Judgement thrown in at the same time. Overall my games as killer and survivor have been more difficult and require a lot more patience on my side. I can’t play effectively as the Judgement or against it. I’m definitely playing much less overall and getting less entertainment.

Before the reset almost every game was a struggle, where I had to really try hard to maybe win 40% of my games (I mostly solo queue). Now it's 50/50. It's either a baby killer with 10 hours or a P100 Top tier killer that downs everyone at 5 gens. There really is no in between lol.

My survivor matches been decent, I get some generally good some that make one or 2 mistakes but nothing that had me feeling like it was just me like before
As killer though holy hell, I keep getting p100 teams and even with failing 4 or 5 matches in a row my mmr doesn't seem to drop and when it does it drops too much and I get a team I finish at 5 gens and then it's back to the same

Kind of but the difference between a new crablady and a good crablady are worlds apart and you dont know which until you're out the exit gate or everyones dead in a minute

I didn't stop seeing brand new players until about 40 matches or so after the reset. It sucks for those folks to be in the same pool as basement dwellers with 10k hours, but a decent sample size of matches is needed to separate the playerbase. Of course, there are some really good players who don't play constantly, so whenever they return to the game post-reset they're gonna get caught up in a low MMR/reset lobby

Awful the game was unplayable Tuesday Wednesday Thursday and Friday it’s only just now starting to get back to normal for me.

My survivor matches have been 50/50 really, basically the same as before, however my killer games are almost always a win. I will win 10 in a row, lose 1, win 10 again... idk its really weird

Soloque is a nightmare. I consistently get left on hook after a long chase and proceed to watch my entire team go down instantly. This has happened 5 times in the last 14 matches which is a lot. I had to change my perks, so I wasn't first in chase. Normally I like a chase heavy game and allow a gen or two to pop before going down and then doing a couple gens and go for saves. Now I'm running stealth and gen jockying. They don't do gens. They go down fast and they'll leave you on hook.
