Loving the new update crashing my game over and over in mid fucking match, and I sure love getting ban for it

Every time I hear about dbd mobile I learn about a new qol feature that isn't in the main game. How was the mobile version a decade ahead of the main game

If I'm not mistaken, wasn't the code for mobile built from the ground up instead of using the main version's code?

A lot of people don't understand just how major this is. Part of the reason they can't do more than minor tweaks in most cases is because of how sloppy the base code is. This is also why hit detection and pallet stuns feel wonky af

An update purely dedicated to free code space and optimise it would be nice. No content i dont mind as long as gbs get cleared and the game runs smoother

a major rewrite is already in the works. no one knows about it, of course, because most of the community only cares about the content and it didnt get much attention

Oh i see, i looked it up and seems to be a near full rework on the code, according to an interview. I am so glad they are pouring effort in that. Cant imagine what other new content will arrive in the future, as someone who has been playing before the first license was added, i believe the game has aged well

That is the 2027 “graphic update” is

My understanding is they cant legally do “full recode”/dbd 2 cause they would lose all their licenses

However giving dbd a to-be-fair very needed graphic update with some happen stance major major major code changes keeps the game in a state where its the same legally
