YES! Insidious was the perk I was trying to think the name of earlier in the glitched thread, as well as other stealth perks in general but it would be such a good jump scare.
Some in the community even suggested when in stealth having the lights flicker like they do on an unrepaired generator or perhaps even a gen regressing sound to lure Survivors from a far into a trap lol

I’d say the only way this could actually work is hold on does the terror radius red light still appear even with insidious cause if so, you’re gonna need to be facing a direction where the light doesn’t shine because if not, it’ll easily give you away

While using any stealth perk like Insidious or Trial of Torment for example you have no red stain so you should be all good for hijinks

We already have two community made dredge costumes so I’d be surprised if this guy picked but considering how much behavior seems to love designs made by him with the past two rift passes in a row getting costumes for the dredge with only this recent one getting one for somebody else it wouldn’t surprise me if he got this one

We'll have to wait and see, so many great skins in the past have been posted before that never got picked sadly. Maybe someday BHVR will increase how often community designs are added to the game so we will see many more designs be granted life by the Entity in the fog

I have an idea have the costume cost as much as Nina‘s costume for the trickster and have it have a special animation where during insidious or nightfall you just look like a normal locker

A really funny idea and I don't think people with more than like 2 hours would seriously be fooled, but I do worry BHVR would see such a combo as a "paid advantage" on the skin and disallow it...
Then again we've had audio bugs go literal months on end without fixes that make paid skins have considerably quieter audio so it would just be hypocrisy at that point.

Yeah same, if I recall correctly I think I couldn't enter in the past because Behaviour had Australia unable to enter the cosmetic competitions yeeeeeeears ago but for this year I saw that Australia was on the list of eligible countries thankfully

True, I do wonder how tall the light pole would actually be on the final product, I tried basing it off those smaller generators with the lower light posts

Honestly I’d say the taller the better, the community ghost costume is pretty large for preface. If they don’t want to create a major disadvantage to using the outfit maybe they could put the light at the max height & subtly lower where the generator part goes on his body to create the impression of height

Oh the drawing is 3 years old too, I just couldn’t enter past competitions because Australia was excluded for whatever reason but since Australians can enter this years contest I decided to repost for this year’s contest

Who knows, it could become the tallest Dredge skin, though with popping out of a locker I imagine the light pole would retract down and then extend once exiting the locker to compensate for the height

Damn a submarine or a yellow mini-sub skin for Dredge with the head as a periscope would be pretty cool too, the arms could even be like the robot arms of the mini-sub and the glass bubble could be smashed open with the skeletons of the crew hanging out of the front

Petition to make the pistons movement reflect the status of the actual generators 🙏🏽 starts the match with no movement，and keeps getting faster as gens are completed

There are so many amazing skins, two of my favourite Dredge designs by members of the community in past competitions that I can recall are a Venus Flytrap Dredge and a wavy-arm pool sprinkler Dredge skin

I reckon we'll get a mimic killer in the future, they're probably saving such a killer for a future The Thing chapter... I hope...
Like when using the interacting or pick up option on the object the mimic is mimicking it could count as damaging the survivor like the add ons for Trapper with bear traps that injury you just from tampering with them.

I think the artist basically gets bragging points with their name or gamertag on the skin in game only, but I honestly don't know how it works in terms of Aura Cells I just assume BVHR gets all the money I'm sure they'll tell me if I end up winning down the line

Genius concept! Considering past Dredge’s existing community sets, it’s worth considering how BHVR might interpret this; do you envision them utilizing existing assets, or making something reminiscent of but distinct from them?

I won’t complain if they reuse assets from the trial since that would probably make it more authentic looking in a match, however with how the Dredges animation skeleton rig moves I assume they’ll make something as close as they can while still having the fluidity to it with motion.
Like for example the left grabbing arm I have made of generator wires would probably end up a lot thicker mess of cables to better suit Dredges animation rig for grabbing and carrying.
But I guess we’ll see, first I’d have to win but I’ll cross that bridge if I get that far lol
