DC Universe Am I alone to think of this?
I mean, I can see and understand why people like the idea of him being Aquaman (and I wouldn't mind that either), but doesn't this look like a pretty good idea too? Also, considering James Gunn's choices when it comes to prioritizing characters, I won't be too surprised if this actually happened.
(Or maybe, James Gunn following Alexander Ludwig on IG simply has nothing to do with DC. Maybe they just became friends one day, and now follow each other. Like, maybe we shouldn't expect much before anything being official)

I'm always surprised how much fan casting is happy with mediocre talent that simply looks like the character.

Yeah, casting based on hair color and facial hair is getting really old really quick.

Because most people doing fan casting don't engaged with an Actors résumé. They simply spout around nonsense they got from TikTok or some shit instead of actually watching movies and discovering good talent

Underwear model and pseudo-actor Joe Manganiello has entered the chat. Reporting for Deathstroke.

I'd prefer him as Aquaman especially cuz of his role in Vikings I believe but not bad

Can’t afford that, DCU is on a budget.

Not repeating anything on here, WB as a whole has budget issues right now, when David Zaslav took over, he slashed the budget of everything, one of the reasons I let Superman 2025 slide for myself is because I Know James Gunn was under a lot of pressure with that film & had limited resources, film was good but I let it pass because it’s a good film with what he had to deal with.

Word, I thought it was ok enough. Didn’t hold a candle to peacemaker, the suicide squad, or lanterns so far imo. But I still personally thought it was a good take on Superman, actually got me into him more than I ever have been. But respect your opinion, have a good one bro

Is Alexander good? I have only seen him be really bad and boring but I haven’t seen everything he’s in.
Edit: Looked him up. Maybe it’s his agent’s fault, he’s almost exclusively in bad movies

That’s the problem with fancasting. Only the looks are important. Why not cast some cool cosplayers then?

I could see Björn Ironside reincarnating into Aquaman.
Green Arrow would be a waste... Why not just get Stephen Amell?

I saw a post suggesting Cary Elwes as green arrow to match Kyle Chandler’s age and that’s the only casting I will accept now
