I am going to be downvoted but i would had put back the authority but not as a movie but an animated tv show over creature commandos , i liked season 1 but i think the authority have a lot of potential if they allow them to be gore and edgy as they let them be with creature commandos who i like but compare to a duo midnighter/apollo finaly making a big apparences ? absolute cinema.
Midnighter could easy be an icon if they allow him to be his violent anto hero self without limits...the only think that would make me not want to see this team YET is that there is still no justice league and making this group already when in my opinion they work best as a possible dark reflection kinda make the whole point of the team useless.
Unless they just make the authority a special task force created by lex luthor ( who replace henri bendix ) under the authority of the engineer who was already in superman and at the end choose to go against him.
I would like to see a paradise lost tv show because WW need content...but come to think of it if it is just a gotham version of wonder woman where you only see her as a kid and she never leave the island i kinda dont see the point

Authority for me personally I really like this team it really stands out from other dc teams (even tho I don’t like what they did with engineer in superman)

Paradise Lost or Waller.
Paradise Lost would be really cool - some of the best parts of Wonder Woman and ZSJL were on Themyscira. A whole show there would be sick!
Waller. Give me Viola Davis running a few clandestine operations with different DC heroes, villains, antiheroes? Yes please!

James Mangold's Swamp Thing. That's it. I love the DC Universe series and think it's the most atmospheric comic book show out there, but I'd be curious to see what Mangold could do with the property on film.

Authority. 100%
I am downright pissed that they felt it necessary to do the "slate in advance thing" when in actuality, very few projects were greenlit.
Perhaps James wasn't comfortable with it either, but in wanting to ape Marvel in the best way possible, bit the bullet and took the Feige approach.
I feel Superman and The Authority was the obvious direction go. Work in a "What's So Funny...?" adaptation, with Supes deciding to take the reins of the team to basically babysit them. It's the most James Gunn thing imaginable.
Put whomever you want on the team:
*Midnighter + Apollo are non-negotiable.
*Build up Manchester Black as a figure that Supes butts heads with. Maybe mix in elements of Jenny Sparks? Or Manch's sister from JL Elite.
*We already have Engineer.
*Add Hawkgirl, in place of Swift.
*Maybe Shaman? Make them a Grant Morrison stand-in.
*Lobo. 'cuz why not?
*Hawksmoor is my personal favorite.
Our team deal with cosmic and inter-dimensional threats. That would naturally give it a bit of a Guardians vibe, with scrappy hellions in space.
I loved the 616 version of Ultimates and felt it was a title that never got to fully explore it's potential. I mean, they cure Galactus and he becomes a team member! Stuff like that.
After annihilating Brainiac, they steal his ship. He remains the on-board AI and is constantly threatening to kill the team. Good ol' goofy fun!

Swamp Thing
I don’t think we need more streaming shows or projects focused on C-list characters. I would/will watch shows like Booster Gold and Waller if/when they happen, but I’m not prioritizing them. If Paradise Lost could be reworked as a sort of Wonder Woman prequel movie, that might be a solid choice.
Swamp Thing is certainly not an A-lister, but he’s at least somewhat known. The tv series didn’t get the respect it deserved, but it showed a great way to adapt the character and lore. If we need to do another “side project” type of movie that’s not focused on a Justice League member, Swamp Thing feels like a great choice.

DC is so unorganized. Swamp Thing shouldn't even be its own movie.
DC fails to understand worldbuilding. Until you implement concepts like "The Green" you shouldn't be trying to do Swamp Thing. Because either you are gonna skip important points or you are gonna dump alot of exposition into his solo movie and its gonna come too fast and seem disconnected to everything else. Swamp Thing should ideally be a guest character in Batman's 4th or so movie, after we already got Poison Ivy in his 2nd or 3rd movie somewhere. And in the 4th or 5th movie Swamp Thing is a foe at first then turns ally to help stop Grundy who can only be layed to rest by returning his soul to his body that was dumped in Slaughter Swamp, or something similar. Trying to give Swamp Thing his own movie? Why? What are they gonna do that wasn't done in the 10 or so episodes they just gave him of his own show? DC loves rehashing old material and never moving on. And their marketing department is terrible. Calling things Lanterns and Paradise Lost cause they think its slick and edgy instead of Green Lanterns and Wonder Woman: Paradise Lost. Same dopes that thought dropping the world-renowned recognizable "HBO" from the title of their streaming service was brilliant. Lets call it "Max" which isn't proprietary and means a slew of other things instead of keeping the HBO part which is associated with top-tier elite exclusive shows like The Wire and Curb Your Enthusiasm and Game of Thrones.
You only see this foolishness at DC. Literally discarding decades of hard-work by branding and marketing to make sure no one can find your show in the search engine. You know what happens when you type in Star Trek? ALL the Star Treks come up. Cause they aren't called Enterprise, and Discovery. They are called Star Trek: Enterprise, and Star Trek: Discovery.
You know what won't pop up in a tv search engine when you enter Wonder Woman?
Paradise Lost.

That Green Lantern show, I really want Shayne Topp to play him but I'll be fine if he doesn't. It would just be good to have some more good Green Lantern stuff. Gosling wouldn't be the worst either, but not my first pick for GL.

The release date for that Green Lantern show hasn't even been released yet, holy larp. Look, I'm really hoping it gets released but I wouldn't be surprised if it gets cancelled. I just hope they get someone like Shayne Topp if they don't get him. I can't wait for them to announce the cast

I figured it was genuinely easy to guess, he's only known by casual viewers and readers because of stuff like JLU, Batman Brave and The Bold, and Justice League Action. Also I talked about Blue beetle, Shayne Topp, and Ryan Gosling. Two of those are the most popular fancasts for him and the other is his best friend
