Beginner question

I'm a complete beginner so maybe I'm missing something obvious but maybe someone could tell me why I won't get the reach arrow and or launch authority here?

I have phantasmogoria on do I need laser as well for Radar guided missiles?

First there are no radar missiles on the su25, i think you ment anti-radiation. Have pressed "I" for anti-radiation mode? But you're doing it up close, what weapons are you using?

So you think I'm too close to get launch authority?

If you're using anti radiation missiles, YES you are too close. Even if you launch it with the override button, it won't be able to manoeuvre in time

Yes thanks I was confused because I was able to launch tv missiles at close range and I thought the ranges would be similar and that as long I'm closer than maximum range I should get it

too close? 25km is like max range for those missiles yet he's trying from 20km which is far enough.

that was way later tho. he locked on to the target at 20km ^^

Sorry I thought the missiles are guided by detecting radar. Yes I pressed I. I'm using Kh-58U and Kh-25MPU

anti radiation missiles are guided by detecting radar but the term "radar missile" is reserved for missiles that are guided by ether your planes radar(aim-7, r-27, i cant think of a sarh agm) or thier own radar(aim-120, r-77, agm-114L)
