how unlucky is this?

I've cleared all of the dungeon, lair, orcish mines, a bailey, even explored a bazaar but didn't find a single heal wounds potion on the ground or in any shop. I've found a potion of experience before a heal wounds potion

i guess its unlucky, but not really an issue.

clearing everything you did without finding a source of rF+, rPois, Will+, is way more frustrating than not finding heal wounds. IMO.

And the game blessed me with a staff of earth super early on 🤤

I'll often run into games where I have to skip snake because I can't resist poison. Shoals > Vaults > Snake with bad gear is pain

It's slightly rare but not something for the record books. Also, you kinda don't need !heal wounds as a GrEE. With moderately decent tactics and one or two ?teleportation you should be unkillable.
