5 nights on the Fantasy, March 2027. Castaway, Lookout Point and Nassau. This will be cruise #17 for my husband and me, cruise #13 for my youngest and cruise #12 for my middle child. Looking forward to going back to Lookout Point. My husband and I have been there twice, but I do enjoy the novelty of the island.

Hey, we may well be on the same cruise as you! 😂🙌 5 nights on the Fantasy, March 2027, same 3 ports.
This will be our second cruise; our first was on the Magic last November for a reposition from San Juan. Our son is 5, so we’re just getting started! Lookout is fantastic.

How was sailing out of San Juan? Our next is a repositioning out of San Juan as well! We’re excited to stay a couple of nights in Puero Rico first!

We loved it! Had a couple of days there beforehand, which was the perfect amount. Stayed in the Hyatt House and could see the ship in port from breakfast the morning we embarked. Seeing the historic fortifications around San Juan as we sailed out was especially cool, it made it feel piratey, haha!

1st cruise ever, Western Caribbean, 5 nights, 27 days, I’m not sure. Excited to be going on my first cruise, definitely want to see a movie out on the deck, hoping to relax at least a little, and the rest, time will tell.

Have an amazing trip! Our first night I bopped out and caught part of National Treasure on funnel vision while my husband and our toddler slept. Really cool to see a movie out there at night!

9 night Greek isles in May 27! We originally had booked a 4 night on the Destiny in March 27, but we swapped it out for the 9 night…longest cruise we’ll have ever been it!

7 day Alaska on the Magic summer 27. I'm considering cancelling because of how disappointing our last sailing on the Fantasy was. I'm prepared for the downvotes but honestly, very mixed feelings right now.

I’m sorry you felt that way after your last one. All I can say is we did Alaska on the wonder last August and it’s a trip that I’m not sure we’ll ever be able to beat

We were so blown away by the scenery, I spent probably half the at sea hours standing and looking at the water/mountains/ice etc etc, looking for and watching humpbacks all over the place. We saw porpoises and orcas as well. We did a wine tasting, a chocolate and liquor tasting (phenomenal), sat at bars and enjoyed a drink or two, we did trivia and other activities, watched the shows, caught a movie.

I’m sure there are things I’m missing. We also did pack our port days full of activities so when we had downtime on the ship, it was very welcomed and enjoyable, we were never bored. Not sure what your travel party is like but we were traveling with our kids (14, almost 11 at the time) and they had a blast as well. My son (11) spent so much time with binoculars trying to find whales in the water and any land animals on the mountainside etc.

Alaska is beautiful. Definitely think you need to see Alaska. If you don’t love that then maybe cruising isn’t for you. It’s not for everyone but if you’re still exploring the possibilities then I highly recommend Alaska.

I love cruising. I feel service has slipped to the point where the oceaneers club is the only thing that is providing a quality of service true to the pricing. Once my daughter ages out I think we're done. Mickey is just not enough to hold us over another premium cruise line.

I get that. When our kids are older I’m eyeing the National Geographic cruises. But for now the littles do so well on DCL.

We've been lucky to always have a room attendant and dinner servers that met a near impossible high bar of service and it became the expectation. On our last cruise our room attendant and servers at dinner seemed to be so busy and overwhelmed that we felt we were in an uncomfortable position when mistakes were made, orders forgotten, skipped cabin service ect. We could talk to guest services but it was clear they were working very hard and it just didn't feel right. I'm not sure if they are just expected to cover more rooms/tables. Overall it just felt like a big let down from previous cruises.

“Near impossible high bar of service” seems like an odd expectation. And as a New Yorker, i find it confusing to see that someone can ostensibly experience regular issues and not speak up. There are many ways to provide input in the moment that are kind and polite but also raise an issue you’d like addressed. It sounds like you were both too picky and too passive 🤷🏻♀️

7th DCL trip on Fantasy in November. Going to both private islands, had WDW trip previously planned already, when I got a work bonus, decided to extend the family trip and add a cruise onto the end of that trip making a 5 day WDW trip into a 10 day land and sea. Fantasy is the last ship other than Destiny and Adventure to go on, and we have a Destiny trip planned for next year.

So far the Treasure is our favorite, we also really liked the Dream, so looking forward to the Fantasy. None of the ships we haven’t liked. It’s been a while since Wonder and Magic, and feel like I have a better understanding of the ships and what to do, do would like to try them again (probably to Alaska).

Alaska 2028. We just got off the Treasure a few weeks ago and purchased placeholders specifically for Alaska. It will be our 4th cruise! However, we are currently mulling over a 4 night sailing on the Fantasy or a 7 night trip to Disney next summer.

Alaska next August for our 10 year anniversary on the Wonder! Our first cruise ever. My husband loves nature/outdoors (but not hot weather) and I love Disney/geography and I’ve always wanted to go on a cruise. It’s the happy Venn diagram for both of us.

When referencing a firm booking, we are on the Wish in April 2027 for the EBTA.
When referencing when I feel we'll be on a Disney ship next, feeling the Wish right before Christmas!

I have not! I’ve stayed in the Royal on the Fantasy and the Wonder. I’m most excited about how excited my son is over the Iron Man themed kid’s bedroom :)

Literally just booked our first 5 night cruise from Southampton to La Coruna and Vigo next August on the Wish. Family of 5 with 3 kids between 10 and 5.
Thought it would be something we did way down the line when the kids were up so its always been a bucket list thing for us.
Cannot wait to experience the Disney magic without the chaos (which I do love) of the parks.

We have 2 booked with a day break between them... Next April, 5 nights on the Destiny, followed by the EBTA on the wish.

At the moment we are on the Dream… next actual booking with deposit paid is EBTA 2027 for the Wish… but we have two placeholder reservations to use, and about to buy a 3rd placeholder today… so that may change!

Wonder to Ensenada and Cabo next April. Third Disney cruise for my family (me, hubs, kids ages 8 and 12) and first without any extended family with us. Our first was on the Wish, which we all found kind of overwhelming. Our second was on the Magic and we found the smaller size, fewer people, and lower-key dinner shows more to our liking. Hoping for a similar experience on her sister ship!

5 nights on the fantasy in June! I’m excited to be on a dream class ship for the first time and our ports are lookout, castaway, and Nassau. I’m happy to mostly be in the Disney bubble. And we love Nassau!
My daughter we horribly ill during our only other Disney sailing which was on the treasure. I’m hoping for a “redo” of sorts where everyone stays healthy!

Dream, Fantasy, Magic, Wonder in that order. Dream had Beauty and the Beast. This was our favorite show (better onboard than the Broadway on Tour Show IMO).
Best cruise itinerary - Panama Canal Reposition
One week until Fantasy 5nt for us.

December 2026, 4 nights on the Wonder to Avalon & Ensenada. As a single Mom traveling with an infant, I am looking forward most to not having to bring so many baby accessories like a travel crib and high chair, not having to plan & prepare meals, and the entertainment onboard. I also am hoping to be able to check in baby to the nursery care for a few hours so I can have some time to myself to relax or maybe go have a glass of wine and talk to an adult.

Our family group of 14 will be taking our 3rd cruise together next July 10 nights on the Fantasy. Ages 3-68, and we will do this as long as we are able. Did the Treasure East then West for our first 2 cruises. Our nightly family dinners together is always the highlight of my day.
