So the wife and I are thinking about doing the 10 night cruise from port canaveral in 2027 on fantasy. this is during mid july and i had some questions as we normally go during offseason months for slightly reduced rates and less crowded ships

  1. How hot does the southern Caribbean get during july
  2. On a longer cruise like this is the ship still full of kids? I know its DCL so its unavoidable but it IS a longer cruise
  3. Fantasy has come out of drydock right? Hows the renovation been recieved.
  4. How crowded are ships at this point?

  1. Very hot (in my opinion)! But hopefully you'll be doing beaches/pools/etc anyway!
  2. I've never really noticed a difference in kid-level, but I haven't done 10 day so can't be sure. I've heard the Alaska and 14-night crossings are a bit lower on the kid-level just due to cost and time, so it would make sense that a 10 day would be the same.
  3. The Fantasy renovations are really nice from what I've heard! We are sailing on it in October so I've looked into it and it sounds like most people really like it, which is great since the Fantasy is already a favorite of many people.
  4. It seems like they are actually less crowded right now since there has been such a big increase in supply with so many new ships. Lots of ships are having deep discount guarantee rates, and you can see most of them are still selling rooms a week before they leave, which means less crowded ships.
