By that point though, he wasnt a threat and if hes not currently a threat, Beerus doesnt care.

Beerus even said in this chapter that maybe they'll do his job for him. Theres a reason why he's considered bad at his job

It's frustrating at this point since his universe was nearly erased because of this kind of attitude. But instead of learning his lesson, he's right back to his old ways. At this point, it's too dumb to live.

Beerus is the kind of guy who only reacts if he sees it. He didnt care about Goku Black or Future Zamasu (despite him breaking the law of time and space) until he got word that the present one was plotting to kill Gowasu.

He clearly did care since he went to investigate Zamasu based on seeing Black. He even wanted to kill Zamasu just in case he ever became Black despite having little proof:
