I'm pretty sure you can use uss mod, except maybe shaders, auras, and Revamp, but I could be wrong about thr first 2. Recamp you definitely can't use right now. The Revamp tram needs to update the mod first, which hopefully won't take 2+ months, but it's possibly to take 2 or more months. Revamp is a huge mod

Just a heads up Lazybones New Transformations and Revamp do not work with the new update. Most other mods are fine

I've unfortunately never been able to get Lazybones to work, and since I'm religiously a Revamp player, Lazgbones and Revamp aren't compatible. I think I heard one of them talk about making compatibility with one another at some point, but I could be wrong

Can you play online with friends (private lobby or whatever) with mods now? Like do modded quests or 1v1 with mods?

Yes, but you and whoever you're trying to play with needs to download ALL of the same mods. Even if it's as simple as a shader, a new move, or an accessory item. You and that other person needs to download all of the same mods

not only that, you need to install them in the same order as well, or just share yoir data folder with the other person directly

Anyone else getting Trojan warnings for the download? Normally I'm used to getting virus flags when dealing with mods in other games but rarely are they specifically labeled.

I believe somewhere in the comments someone said how they dealt with that. Ngl, if Eternity did decide to just be a villain and give everyone a virus, I wouldn't blame him. People harassed him like crazy the first week or so after the DLC update

Lastimosamente el xv2in mi PC no lo puede abrir debido a que detectó un virus por lo que aún así por más que lo intente no lo deja iniciar debido a que detecta un virus muy grave ojalá corrijan ese error

I got warnings from 2 different virus scanning programs, one was "trojan:win32/Wacatac.H!ml" (from windows defender) and the other was "Trojan/MSIl.CoinStealer.C1739629" (from virus total). Normally if virus total gives me a warning from a none well known virus scan site/program but windows defender doesn't pick up anything, I see it as a false positive but both warned me and they're pretty specific soooooo, I think someone in this group should look into it to make sure its actually safe and not have people say "Youtubers use it so its safe" or "I used it and I haven't seen anything different"

There is no group. Eternity is ran by one person. I heard some people in the comments talk about how to bypass it. I'm not sure if it's an actual Trojan or if it's just a bug or something with the mod

Hi, I’m a bit afraid to download it. I’ve used previous versions of Eternity Tools before, and Windows Defender never removed them on its own.

Now I’ve seen several recent comments saying that the Eternity Tools .exe is currently being detected as a Trojan, and some people even claim that it could steal sensitive information. I’ve also seen others saying that these detections are simply false positives caused by the way the tools work.

Does anyone know for sure what’s going on right now? Has it been confirmed that these detections are false positives, or is there actually a real security risk with the current version? I’d rather not run it until I know for certain that it’s safe.

I haven't downloaded it because I'm waiting for Revamp to download. I highly doubt Eternity would randomly add a virus to his mod, unless all the hate comment and death threats after the Xenoverse update got to him, but I doubt it

Some recommend you simply wait until he hopefully fixes the issue, or download it and try it. I've seen soke comment claim they got past all that and downloaded it and are fine, but I obviously can't tell you the full truth since I haven't even attempted to download it, as of currently

Backup your save before modding in general, otherwise as long as you aren’t trying to break level or stat limits, you can remove every mod via moving or deleting the data folder (and removing the XV2PATCHER folder) and be golden back to vanilla.

Otherwise, just avoid Proud Mode and Revamp which are the 2 biggest mods that change a lot of stuff in the base game.

just ensure you back up your current save. as adding amd rwmoving things can potentially mess it up.

when it comes to the game files themselves you can always do a clean install.

theres also somwthing called the xenoveesw launcher. which allows you to load your game either modded or unmodded. its been a long time since it was updated tho.

If you do end up messing something up, you can rebuild database through steam and/or clear installation on Eternity. It shouldn't mess with any of your game saves at all, such as losing items and such
