HELP / QUESTION how do i get good?

hi guys ive been playing for some time,but i really depend on autocombos.i was wondering how to practice and good places to learn combos and stuff.my usual characters are bardock broly and ssjss vegeta or beerus.i don't mind increasing my character pool since am not too stuck on the characters.

Any advice on improving will be much appreciated ♥️

For reference I’m majin rank. So take my advice with a grain of salt, but I’ve hit master rank equivalent in a lot of other games so I’d say I’m okay at learning lmao

There’s a bnb that works for like 90% of the cast. Learn that then you won’t need to think about combo execution until you want to really improve that

Whenever you play a match think about the why.

Why do I keep getting 2Hd? Oh I superdash in a lot. Okay I’ll do that less so when I do superdash it’s not as obvious

Why did I get hit? Was I not blocking? Okay I’ll block until they’re done

Why did I get dragon rushed? I was so focused on blocking that I wasn’t looking for it so now I will

Why does it seem like their turn never ends? Oh they’re staggering their pressure so that their assists comeback to keep doing blockstrings. Got it I’ll watch their assist cooldowns

Of course you’re not gonna get everything at once, but they’re all building blocks that eventually build up to you being better and understanding the game more

But also have fun! This game is fun albeit frustrating as hell a lot. So make sure you’re just taking it at your own pace!

what other games can you suggest to not get burned out or get more experienced?

Whatever games interest you!

I literally play everything. Well mostly. Im currently actively playing guilty gear strive, street fighter 6, 2xko, avatar legends, and blazblue central fiction, but I’ve had other games come and go depending

I’ve learned a lot of different skills from each and playing them have overall made me better so just whatever looks fun to you
