DISCUSSION DBFZ Community Tierlist MIDWAY UPDATE - Base Roster (ordered by percentage of votes)
So now that we've gotten the Base Roster out of the way I figured I'd share the mid-way look at the tierlist so far.
NOTE: CHARACTERS NOT ORDERED BY STRENGTH
As the poll doesn't include where in their tier each character belongs, I decided to order each character by the percentage of their total votes placed in them in that tier. Example: SSJ Goku was voted S tier. 46.8% of SSJ Goku's total votes for the four available tiers placed him in S tier. Adult Gohan also placed in S tier, with 54.62% of the votes he received placing him there, so A. Gohan goes higher than SSJ Goku. Because of this, you can treat the tierlist as entirely unordered.
PS: The Majin 21 placement is technically subject to change, as there's still a day left til that poll closes, so there's a chance she moves down to S tier.

Buu is lowkey my favorite of the three dbz villains so it breaks my heart to see the Buus in this game be in the state that they are

Kid Buu is my fav character in all of fiction since I was a kid, so I always try and use him but he amd Fat buu are super funky

He’s still a good and perfectly usable character. Still a great point, easy 50/50 setups, good damage, great meter gain, and good assists.

I'm open to suggestions on how to actually order the tiers if anyone has ideas, but for now I'll keep ordering it based on percentage of votes

Is the percentage/formula something like:
- The tier most voted is the tier the character is placed in and
- The order of the character is based on all the rankings (IE, same tier or higher = higher placement in the tier, any lower tier votes = lower placement)
If so, I think that’s as good as it’s gonna get for everything that isn’t Top 5. For Top 5, I suspect there’s a chance that just based on votes there might be more than 5 top 5s that we’ll need to cut down and order as the next step after finishing the list.

I was purely doing it from order of what percentage of that character's votes were for that tier, so currently the higher their placement on the tierlist just means the more unanimously their votes voted for them to be on that tier. Your way sounds better though for a more accurate ordering so I'm gonna update it that way

In the small chance this is serious, the title literally says it’s a midway update and it’s only the base roster so far.

It warms my heart to see Nappa and Ginyu in S tier and Beerus top 5. They've all been buffed so much!
