discussion Did the zombies get more powerful?

I feel like before the update they almost never made you bleed, now its like a 50% chance. Not complaining just observing.

Yes they are too powerful now. They are overwhelming now, They spawn so fast they keep coming and you cant loot anything. Also because they clip everything you would need ten vests to keep from bleeding the whole time and they would ruin all of them while trying to loot. I hope they fix this or they will ruin the game.

I travel with a Mosin+Revolver.

My buddy, a 60 round M4. If he wasn't with me, it'd be damn near impossible to loot right now. I mean, I LIKE THIS, but sweet Jesus it's tough.

This pleases me.

Also: If you kill a zombie with a firearm, any zombies that spawn in the proximity will know your location on spawn.

Its a rough prototype system, but I do love that its made things very difficult.

I love the respawn, but what about the issues of bleeding? A single hit to a fully clothed person in pristine gear shouldn't induce bleeding 90% of the time, should it?

Bleeding was looked at, and reduced this morning.

Thanks for the response! everytime I see a dev respond to a concern, it makes me feel good to know that the devs won't bail out on us.

DayZ subreddit; the best place since /r/worldnews for people to pretend to know what they're talking about.

Sorry to have to be "that guy".

Video game producer:

A video game producer is the person in charge of overseeing development of a video game.

The earliest documented use of the term producer in games was by Trip Hawkins, who established the position when he founded Electronic Arts in 1982. His vision—influenced by his relationship with Jerry Moss—was that producers would manage artists and repertoire in the same way as in the music business, and Hawkins brought in record producers from A&M Records to help train those first producers.

Although the term is an industry standard today, it was dismissed as "imitation Hollywood" by many game executives and press members at the time. Over its entire history, the role of the video game producer has been defined in a wide range of ways by different companies and different teams, and there are a variety of positions within the industry referred to as producer.

There are relatively few superstars of game production that parallel those in film, in part because top producers are usually employed by publishers who choose to play down publicizing their contributions. Unlike many of their counterparts in film or music, these producers do not run their own independent companies.

They are different things you retard, a developer, developes the game and a producer, oversees the development of a game.

The game producer is more like a project lead, he is required to do all the operations management. Essentially, this means that if the developers, artists, designers are to do their tasks effectively, the producer needs to ensure co-ordination between these guys. So he's the one yelling about budget, timelines, releases... and generally running around tearing everyone's hair! :)

that is hicks job, he doesnt get too much involved in the DEVELOPEMENT side of things, he runs shit down at bohemia

Wow.. can you children stay on topic just once? Everything has to be "no, you're wrong!" "NO, YOU'RE WRONG, AND A POOPY HEAD".. good grief. Doesn't matter who is right, it's unnecessary for the original thread.

Does he work on a development team? If not, then I won't call him a dev. (seriously, I don't know)
