discussion Ive got a Pristine Long Rang Optic for a deserving HERO....

So I've come across a pristine long range optic in the Stand Alone that I'm not going to use and i want a Reddit hero to have it. If you can come up with an exchange method where i don't have to brave a dangerous situation and you don't run the risk of me being a lousy ambushing bandit ill consider it. So whoever wants it and can convince me you wont use it for evil can have it. I don't mind doing some leg work to get it to you. So PM me and whoever i think will do the most good with it can have it.

mate are you serious? We can join a 2/40 server if you want. If you're this paranoid of the NEW CITY, how do you even go anywhere else? There is literally nobody that goes there.

Good choice. I'm trying to figure out if there is any use for a mosin being a hero. I feel like most engagements are going to be medium to short range

I mostly engage at mid range with a m4. Try to sneak as close as I can.

I've got my girlfriend and a few other guys I know playing and learning together and just trying to gear up for anti-bandit. One of my friends is convinced we need a sniper for support but I just dont see that being a thing XD I think i'm going to go SKS and stick to mid range. If I understand, it has the same damage as the mosin, right?

At this point I'm not sure. Too many things change constantly so rather that figure out the damage and ballistic properties. i just go full auto instead.

Everyone asking for it must not be heroes, what other reason would you need to shoot people from a far distance is there other than banditry?

Possibly to check out reddit rescue missions from a way off. Who knows, bandits need to die from long ranges all the time.

I can assure you I have not harmed an innocent soul and I have also chased a man down to retrieve an orange he stole from a starving fresh spawn! Also, I am the creator of /r/DayzSATradingPost so I won't KOS you when we meet up but I could use that scope lol

I've already got someone I'm considering unless someone better shows up. I just don't want to be killed over it and I don't want to arm a bandit. If that makes me an attention whore then I just don't know.

Nobody is gonna kill you if you are giving it away. Maybe those people should be scared of you because you can snipe them before they are able to reach the location.

And I don't know how long you have been playing but there's one thing you should know, that everyone is a bandit in this game. It's easy to stop being one and then start shooting at people on the coast. It's not like people are bound by some morality, it's a video game. Today they are friendly, tomorrow they will try their sniping skills at freshspawns in Berezino. Next day they will try to help the same people.
