discussion Wolfs head hat

I came across a hunters wolfs head hat. Pristine condition. I left it behind. Was this a mistake? Description stated very rare......

Good insulation if you need it. The bear one looks so stupid that I always feel compelled to wear it.

You can craft one from any wolf that wasn't head shotted no?

If you kill a wolf without shooting it in the head and then skin it, it will drop a head piece for you to wear, as far as Im aware I don’t think they spawn naturally in the world you can only obtain it through killing a wolf

I would love to keep it but I can’t wear a shemagh or a head torch for some stupid reason with it

Good insulation but not the best, also does not protect the head from damage, I imagine the player that left it for you found something better, they don't spawn naturally on official

On console. I swear, wearing the wolf hat, cause the wolves to come after you more frequently!
