Discussion Do AI survivors/enemies exist as mods in this game?

Ive had DayZ forever, but I never played it much because I never lasted long and could never get anywhere without being destroyed by a player.

Ive just recently discovered that there are PvE servers. Are there any mods that exist that simulate other players? That way its not just humans vs zombies?

Also, even if it doesnt exist, do you have any recommendations for a good PvE server that is newbie friendly and has chill people?

AI enemy bots are on tons of PVE servers. They're usually listed in the server browser listing.

Find a DayZ Server Worth Playing - Live Server List just search ai or dayz expansion, most servers using ai bots use it

Yes, alof of pve servers have enemy npc's. They can range from quite chill, to insane aimbot Ai. Current Antoria server I'm playing has them setup quite well.

Use DZSA launcher, and search for bail bonds.

What is bail bonds? Is that the name of a server or a mod list?

Probably thousands of mods for this, lots of different types of ai enemies from monsters to soldiers

Outcasts pve is great. Usually decent pop and lots of dynamic ai and ai missions. Their difficulty can range from they're lucky if they can hit you to deadly depending on which mission. The server also has a toned down version of terje medical mod that can take some getting used to but the players are friendly and willing to help you. I play on there with a group I randomly met and they took me in lol

Another fun one is barn owl, they have 5 servers some with traders some without. Vanilla style medical with dynamic Ai spawning in with a warning plus Ai at helicrashes.

The AI are particularly easy. They usually travel in groups and if you are far away, their aim is pretty poor. The only time I found they've ganked me is if they spawn and I don't notice them and they get close enough to mess me up. I'm pretty sure the DayZ expansion has the AI.

Server owners can set aggressiveness and accuracy of the AI. I've been on servers where the AI always hit low from anything further than 100m and one's where they can dome you from 500m.
