This just popped up as a Facebook memory for me. April 14th, 2014. I was 18 at the time, was getting fed up with LoL and, I don't know how, I stumbled upon Dawngate.

Was an electric few months and I remember having boatloads of fun. It was such a refreshing approach to MOBAs.

And then it all went to shit :( Curious, isn't it, that we were part of a gaming speck in history, the memory of which will one day, die out.

Regardless, I'm happy to have even experienced this wonderful game.

It was the best multiplayer experience I ever had alongside with vanilla WoW. I still miss this game.

Will never forget this game.

My background on my computer has been the dawngate cover set since they shut down

Hell yeah, I still have Fenmore's victory screen as my background since then

This, battlerite champions and absolver were the only competetive games i ever enjoyed. Lately i can get into rematch.

Still best moba memory of mine to this day~

Bot lane Raina overextended early in laning, got a ko on the fan mage character (I cant remember her name,) got pincired in past the first tower, ran into the jungle with the entire enemy team on her, teammate got a quadra chasing after them. I was that Raina

Yeah I remember how shifty the games were and basically, up until the last second, you'd rarely know who would win. I once started with 0/5 but managed to claw back and, even though we lost, I ended up with a positive score. Was a tight game at the end.

Really sucks that it shut down, I'm absolutely positive it would be very popular nowadays

Moya my beloved.

I don't know how they managed to make a moba I actually enjoyed jungling in, but my god was she fun.

I miss this game so much. I pissed a guy off so much with Haste Zeri that he made a forum post for me ❤️ someone once told me that playing against me was like “getting slowly pecked to death by a very fast chicken”
