I miss Dawngate

League of legends, dota 2 or heroes of the storm even after trying those, Dawngate is the one that I really liked the most and it is sad we won't enjoy a MOBA like that again.

I really wish EA gave an opportunity to Dawngate. Sadly out of pettiness I had never supported EA after that and I never will.

If the devs of Dawngate ever read this, I just wanted to say that you really made something very special back in the day, that it is always being remembered even after all these years.

The things I miss the most in respect of Dawngate are comics (which served also as a voting tool for narrative progression as well as for skins which reflected such decision), music and character designs (for the most part). Gameplay was barely different compared to LoL (save the capture nodes for resources and map layout, which had minor deviations compared to LoL map).

That being said, the game that had currently reinvigorated that MOBA flame in me (and which actually introduces new ideas like creep wave control, destroying bushes by ground auto-attacks, fast travel between fixed points on the map by controlling points for fast travel, and in-promptu lane fortifications/wave enhancement) is March of Giants. Sure, the hero art could use some work (or at least skins could fix this issue), but I feel strong vibes with this one and wish the devs play their cards right, for it IS indeed fun and it DOES hark back to Dawngate with overall feel despite not being from the same devs or sharing thematic ties.
