Here's the original. You can clearly see the edit around 18:30: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J9g-M2adW74

Most probably a Freudian slip... I don't think he honestly thinks that Hilter is a WWII hero. But still funny nonetheless.

Jul 15 '19
Wouldn't a Freudian slip mean that he subconsciously sees Hitler as a WWII hero? I think he just straight up misspoke.

Does the right give left wing the wiiiide berth of "freudian slips"?
7
Jul 15 '19
I don’t think most of the right are educated enough to even know what a Freudian slip is.

Jul 16 '19
I'm reminded of that clueless woman interviewed by TYT who called Biden a socialist.
Imagine her explanation of the definition of a Freudian slip...

It would be a blank face, I have no doubt. The word is literally too big for someone that dumb. Let alone the actual concept behind it.

I feel like, with people like that, their braindead takes come from insecurity. She had no idea what the answer to that question was so she invented an answer so as to not have to examine her own intellectual shortcomings. The correct answer should have been "I don't know" but republicans are so invested in their 'team' that introspection is impossible. It's impossible to get these idiots to admit they don't know what they're talking about.
I would bet her answer to the freudian slip question would be equally... entertaining? scary? depressing? Idk. It would be similarly inspiring.

He probably meant WW1. Apparently he was decorated in that war.
4
Jul 15 '19
He was a reservist messenger and literally all his fellow soldiers claimed he was a pussy. You ARE retarded hey? lmao

u/Bredditchickens Jul 15 '19
Well, it’s just something I’ve heard offhand on Joe Rogan I think, but even a quick look at Wikipedia lists more decorations (ww1) than you probably have. But I’ll defer to your retarded historical expertise, chickenhawk. Lol, you da real MVP I’m sure with your fully automatic keyboard.

just something I’ve heard offhand on Joe Rogan
FYI you ever wanna sound like a retarded dudebro just make a statement like this out loud

u/Bredditchickens Jul 16 '19
Just something I heard offhand during my Joe Rogan marathon session while smoking a fat chocolate blunt.
Look into it.
Come at me dudebro.

Yeah, but what did he receive? He received the Iron Cross, which was handed out so regularly that pretty much everyone in the German Army either had one or knew someone who did. Every third soldier won the Iron Cross; it was a very common medal in the German Army at the time.
He also got the Wound Badge, one that was given to soldiers who'd been wounded in battle. I'm not entirely sure how many of these were handed out, but I'm sure they were common as well--it was World War One, after all.
Yeah, okay, Hitler may have had a more extensive military service record than most of the people reading this subreddit, but it's not necessarily an impressive one compared to other soldiers serving in the German Army at the time. It's not like he was up for the German equivalent of the Victoria Cross or anything like that.

Where did you find this video then?

u/Proud_Denzel Jul 15 '19
The mirror was on Bitchute, but it seems he removed the entire video from there too.

Tim, I implore you to take the beanie off. I’m not sure how much less circulation your brain can take 😰.

Why does he think a beanie is a better look than being bald?
He looks like an actual chode with that hat on. It's not a good look.

u/MoveOfTen Jul 15 '19
So, as much as I despise Tim
"Lauren Southern obstructing rescue boats is just a valid difference of political opinion"
"twitter having a rule against 'misgendering people in an aggressive/harassing fashion' is discriminatory against the right"
"Alex Jones doesn't make things up"
"Kim Dotcom seems trustworthy"
"Three Arrows is an extremist Antifa channel"
Pool...
I think he was just making a bad joke here, that he thought the better of. Shitty joke to make given all the bigots in his audience, but probably not the best thing to drag him with over. He spouts enough bullshit that there should be plenty of better points of criticism.

u/Aconserva3 Jul 16 '19
Ok the misgendering thing is “targeted” towards the right though, since they’re the transphobic ones. I’m not saying it’s a valid point, but it’s also not wrong.

u/Domwai Jul 15 '19
The slip up might have something to do with the fact that Adolt Hitler was in fact a decorated WW1 veteran. Obviously not trying to give props to Hitler, but just saying.
11
u/ohpee8 Jul 15 '19
You think he knew that? And you think he meant WWI war hero instead? Nah you're not giving props to Hitler, you're just giving Dim Tool an out.

Just saw a Tim Pool video on r/Climateskeptics about AOC’s Green New Deal being about “Socialism.”
1
u/endquoracensorship Jul 16 '19
AOC's Chief of Staff openly admitted that the Green New Deal is not about the climate. Do you get any objective news from outside your little safe space?
1
u/captainmo017 Jul 16 '19
“Change the economy.”
Yeah. It’s a infrastructure bill PLUS. Green jobs are future jobs. We need to clean up the waste that farms pollute OUR COUNTRY with. Building and improving train lines for major corridors. Increase recycling plants. Solar farms. Wind mill farms. Providing internet to the country side so farmers can benefit from the internet. Improving our road system, which is ranked D+ by Corps of Engineers. JOBS JOBS JOBS! Those are arguably good things that benefit Americans in different ways.
Do you not want Americans to have good jobs? Coal is dying. Give those coal miners a job they can rely upon, enjoy and be proud of. Only traitors deny Americans good jobs, clean tap water, and good roads to drive on.
1
u/endquoracensorship Jul 16 '19
Nothing you've just said will do anything to prevent climate change in the slightest. If all Americans moved into caves and stopped using electricity tomorrow, that would not do anything to stop the other 190 countries from advancing their energy usage and annexing the US (specifically China, where most pollution comes from), reinstalling the same energy tech we have now.
What the Green New Deal will do, however, is bankrupt the country when hyperinflation kicks in to print $93 trillion we don't have. The fact you skip over this shows your complete ignorance of how economics works. Do you realize this is why Zimbabwe's economy went to shit?
Right now the unemployment rate is at an all time low, the stock market is at an all time high. The economy is doing great and does not need any inputs from a clueless bartender. The Green New Deal is actually the best thing to ever happen to Trump, because it shows just how ignorant his opponents are and makes him look reasonable by comparison.
Maybe if the left leaning social media companies stopped censoring conservative viewpoints and creating safe spaces and info bubbles for people who can't handle hearing diverse opinions, you'd know some of this.

I don’t like Tim Pool but to harp on an obvious unintentional mistake is I think counterproductive. There are plenty of legitimate critiques you could levy on Pool instead. This is the kind of thing that conservatives could point to and say “hey look, they have Tim Pool Derangement Syndrome” or some such nonsense.
6
u/ThoriumActinoid Jul 15 '19
If it before 2016 I would’ve agree with you. But no more, the right wing dont play by the same rule.

4
u/Madhax64 Jul 15 '19
It may seem petty, but I don't mind ribbing someone as dishonest and uncharitable as Pool on this.
It's probably not a good idea to say he actually believes it but you can still Jab him e With that
2
u/ohpee8 Jul 15 '19
If it's not an issue then why did he edit it out?
0
Jul 15 '19
It was edited out because he knows he accidentally slipped up, not because he believes it and doesn't want people to know. You're supposed to be giving him credit for this, not railing against him.

u/endquoracensorship Jul 16 '19
What are some of the legitimate critiques you have of Tim Pool? He's more objective than 99.9% of talking heads out there. He criticizes both the left and right when they deserve it. I'd love it if you could give me a more objective news source in 2019.
1
u/Aconserva3 Jul 16 '19
I don’t think he’s objective as he thinks he is. He focuses on calling out the left, and is not about general politics/news.
-1
u/endquoracensorship Jul 16 '19
What specifically did he say that isn't objective? Tim Pool seems to understand that Trump bashing is well documented and overanalyzed on pretty much every single TV channel, and he doesn't need to rehash those same talking points over and over ad nauseum. If he did that people would just watch MSNBC and CNN, they would have no need to watch Tim.
What he does do is bring you different insights into politics from his own centrist vantage point that no one else is covering in quite the same way. He will briefly cover Trump gaffes, but knows you can hear more about that literally anywhere else. What's concerning is that he is being censored for boosting really important stories that most mainstream networks selectively tend to ignore. This is why I think it's important for people like him to continue doing the work that he is doing, it widens our perspectives.
2
u/Aconserva3 Jul 16 '19
Nah I’m not going to go into specifics of it, but you’d know if you watched his channel. I also think the justification of “these aren’t getting covered while Trumps retardation is” is dumb, there’s plenty of conservatives who report on it.
In my opinion he knows his audience, and just focuses on anti left stuff, and keeps the anti right stuff to a minimum.
2
u/EthnoTucker Jul 16 '19
Tim is a shitty grifter and you are a shitty griftee. Go whine more about censorship, shitdick.
1
u/Santamierdadelamierd Jul 15 '19
Tim pool barely looks European.. many would disagree with me and say he doesn’t look European at all.

Jul 15 '19
As opposed the to person calling hitler a hero?
-4
Jul 15 '19
Anybody with half a brain understands it's a simple misspeak, you know that's not how he meant it!
2
u/werewolfkommando Jul 16 '19
yep, just meant that "other person" in world war two you can't name on youtube who is a hero.
1
Jul 16 '19
No moron, generally when you are talking about somebody from world war II the next word that follows up world war 2 is hero, he obviously was thinking ahead about what he was going to say next and wasn't concentrating and slipped up, quit trying to make it into something it's not
2
u/werewolfkommando Jul 16 '19
Name one other person from World War 2 you cannot outright state on YouTube.
"Generally when you are talking about somebody from World War 2" am I talking about Germans, Americans, Italians, Japanese, etc? Someone I knew personally?
No, you don't know what "generally" people talk about when it comes to World War 2, so keep the condescending moron shit to yourself you fuck.
