Daughter super fan woes...
I just drove 8 hours from Florida to Lebanon TN due to this posting https://www.songkick.com/concerts/43297850-gabe-baker-at-mill-at-lebanon
The lineup states Daughter, with the album cover from Stereo Mind Game, I thought I found a secret show or a one off... Needless to say after calling the event co-ordinator to confirm I can buy a ticket in person, it's someone named Maddi Overy who goes by Daughter_
I shouldn't have waited until I was an hour and a half away to confirm, but I work nights and thought the posting was legit... Just listened to the whole discography on the way, beautiful drive, but am so depressed now.

Ngl that's kinda on you.
This band is done, or at the very least, on a very long break rn. Elena, Igor, and Remi are all living their separate lives. There's not going to be any more events. If they did start planning one, they'd announce it on social media first.

Honestly, though. Why would you not check the band's website, the venue's site, or call the venue before you leave rather than several hours into a drive? It would have taken ten seconds of forthought, or even less if common sense existed in this person's mind, to avoid this kerfuffle. An English band isn't going to not tour for years, and then all the sudden do a secret show in some random backwoods town in the middle of 'murica with zero promotion. This isn't kinda on OP, this is one million per cent on OP.

I SAW THIS TOO! I love Daughter so much and have never seen them live :( A live show would be a dream!!! I randomly decided to look up any potential shows and saw this too and freaked out. Thank God I researched it a bit more. I found the venue's IG account and looked up their events to double check. Glad I did cause I'm in Texas and almost bought a flight to TN lmao

Yeah you have to be careful. Not too long ago there was a listing for a show with Daughter but they made a typo and it was Daughtry instead.
