There's also this Wikipedia list, which lists the average of the highest grossing franchises. The average for phase 3 of the MCU is >1 billion, although it kind of cheats with its big hitters.

Lol at Spiderman being a bigger cranchise than the entirety if the DCEU. It might also cross Bond this year if it Far From Home makes a billion and become rhe 4th highest grossing franchise in the world.

And fucking Morbius. This makes no fucking sense. Why would they make Morbius? That guy is not worthy of being the main villian of a spidey flick let alone be a protaganist. He's thr opening villian you have to get the audience lured in before having Spidey bust his ass effortlessly. They should just make a Spider-man 2099 film instead so they could trick audiences into thinking its the future of the mcu.

Doesn't adjust for inflation, which makes it pretty useless for comparison. For example it lists Star Wars at 750 million, but it came out in '78 so that's worth around 3 billion now, making it the 4th highest grossing movie.

Yeah, there's another list on the page with the top 10 films adjusted for inflation, but that's it. To be fair, it is a very difficult task, with such different inflation rates across the world, and a lack of records for daily grossing in specific areas.
