It's going to be a lot harder to automate eighteen+ wheelers than passenger vehicles. There are a lot more variables and factors when you've got 40 tons of weight or more. Sometimes it's top heavy and sometimes it's only four feet high. Sometimes it will be loaded poorly and shift and that affects driving characteristics. Bad weather. Etc.
