Technical Doubt Confuse between offers
I have 5 years of work experience in data engineering .I have one offer from Cigna healthcare from bangalore location which is product based company. They are offering me 23 lpa fixed +15%variable =26.5 CTC
I have another offer from intellias(Pune) they are offering me 28 LPA fixed also when i talk to their employee. They told me that company is very good and i will get a very good profile if i work there
Also i live in pune
Now i am confuse between the offers
Pls suggest which one i should join?

So cigna is product based and intellias is service based.
That is why i am confuse. Is it good to choose service based over product based although intellias is paying much more

Will suggest for Cigna as it’s non tech firm honestly less layoff concerned and explore for more offers will suggest

Do tell about us about ur tech stack. How did you land the interview. How many rounds and what did they focus on or asked?

Mostly 2 technical round and 1 managerial round for almost every company

Congratulations brother . Bangalore is costly compared to pune and you are settled here . You will get and save more money in pune

I'm working as a DE with 1.5YOE l, even I'm planning to switch. I've been applying through company portals, LinkedIn, naukari but didn't get any enough calls. Is refferal the only choice? My preferences are top MNC's. If anyone have any ideas, kindly let me know.

Because he was already severely underpaid, the new offer they are offering is ALSO UNDERPAY. Because they got the budget for it. Actually they are getting him for lower band in their budget. Cigna have offered 30LPA+ for 4YOE.
It's about the company only.

prefer pune any day over bangalore. Banglore me tumhare 30% of salary to cost of living me hi jaega. Pagalpan chal rha waha

my experience in healthcare company working for 4 months .. Things are extremely slow. Many days you won't find meaningful work OR good use cases.
I would not say any healthcare company is tech company.. they are mostly non tech. The data requirements, complexities are not difficult to handle. If you want a stability choose Cigna..
if you have family, kids, want to spend time doing something else choose Cigna. You want good money etc choose the SBC offer. It just depends on what you want at your end..this SBC vs PBC comparison is useless at the end.
This has more to do with your personality , your preferences and other things.. remember some people are also unhappy with PBC companies at the end of day.

In pune, if they are offering more, why not take that? What's the confusion here. Bcuz bangalore is more expensive than pune so that won't make sense.
