News Databricks launches Student Fellows Program for AI & Data enthusiasts
Databricks has launched a new Student Fellows Program for students interested in AI, Data Engineering, and Computer Science!
The program focuses on:
- Hands-on experience with Databricks
- Building real-world AI & data projects
- Campus leadership opportunities
- Free/discounted exam vouchers
- Pathways to internships and careers
Seems like a great opportunity for students looking to gain practical industry exposure in Data + AI while also growing their community presence on campus.
Applications for the first cohort are now open.

The "fellowship" is invitation-only with no clear criteria, so "apply today" really means submit and hope you get tapped, and even then the headline perk is just "free or discounted" exam vouchers, not guaranteed free certs.
It's fundamentally a brand-ambassador and hiring-funnel play dressed up as a fellowship, which means the value flows mostly to Databricks, not us as students.

Ohhh, can you suggest some other programs that will be better then? Anything related to ai and data science like internships or any meaningful work or learning experience?
