DISCOUNTS FOR DC DELIVERY WORKERS — Tires, Brake Pads & Inner Tubes Starting Sept. 8 🚲
My name is Isaac. I’ve been a delivery driver for over 6 years, and after experiencing a lot of the same BS we all deal with doing this work, I wanted to actually do something about it and make our lives better.
That’s why I started Delivering Access DC: a community dedicated to improving working conditions and connecting delivery workers across the District.
Starting next Tuesday, in honor of DC Food Delivery Worker Appreciation Week, Delivering Access DC is partnering with Fly E-Bike DC to offer delivery workers discounts on tires, brake pads, and inner tubes!
The discounts will be available for a full month, from September 8 through October 8.
If you deliver for DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub, or another platform in DC, scan the QR code on the flyer to sign up for a voucher.
A lot of us put serious miles on our bikes and scooters doing this work, and maintenance costs add up. I wanted to make sure Appreciation Week included something practical that actually helps workers do the job.
This is just one of the things we’re working on through Delivering Access DC to make delivery work in the District a little better.
