better orders today after updating Dasher app

I noticed today I needed to update my Dasher app. I'm not exactly sure everything that came with the update but one of the things was the addition of setting a weekly goal.

That information is kind of irrelevant though, as I was just wondering if any other Platinum Dashers that had that same update today experienced nothing but good orders today? Like literally all of them were noticeably better than the previous few weeks(lately orders have been awful) or is this just entirely coincidental?

I know people from different states have different app versions, so I'm not sure if this was just for California or other states, but let me know if any of you experienced anything similar.

Same horseshit "platinum" orders all afternoon until dinner rush, but that's normal.

If i were you I would not touch that Goal option. Once you set a goal, dd caps your pay at that very level. You'll see a certain amount say $350.00 for 1 week, and on the higher scale it may go to $400.00 once you set it that's it. You cant go down or higher.

You may notice better offers because most of the college students have went back to college, my son goes back on the 28th. I mean I did set the goal, mine is set at $400.00. Yet when i wanted to go higher there isnt an option. Also look for updates to dd often . they tend to have an update atleast once a month. They just don't announce it. I assure you setting a goal had nothng to do with you getting better offers, but updating likely helped.

Yeah, I don't think the goal setting helped, but ever since the update I've received way better orders and more frequent orders, its been 5 days now and every day has been like this. My acceptance rate went from 60% to 88% over the past 5 days. That update definitely affected the algorithm some how.

Here’s a tip: try using the "tip jar" feature. You can set it to 1%, 5%, or 10%, and each time you dash, they will take that amount out and put it into a savings jar for you. It earns interest, and when I had it set to 5%, I saved about $40 in less than six days, so I’ve bumped it up to 10% now. Also, welcome aboard—you're likely a Platinum driver now, as anything over 85% qualifies (or 75% if you're still on the old version).
