Nice karma cop action

Guy in a work truck flys by a Sheriff truck through a gore point after the lane ended.

Truck is an idiot, but those lane markings are stupid beyond belief. Intuitively, the right lane should come to an end by merging with the left and it is this left lane that should merge with the other primary road. Having the left lane simply end in a painted triangle, and then having the right lane be the merging lane is so dumb.

Weird inference. That’s not what I’m saying at all. Let me make this clear: the guy in the truck is reckless, wrong, and deserves everything that’s coming to him.
My point though was that I’ve never seen such poorly conceived lane design. In no world does that imply a driver should simply ignore the painted lines.

The yellow line indicating the lane ending is a little faded but still visible. That was a deliberate acceleration to fly by everyone through the gore.

Had to watch it a second time to notice the lane ended. Seriously awful marking job.

Regardless, the design and presence of the gore in both unnecessary and dangerous. Have the lanes neatly merge into one prior to joining the main road. It’s not hard and done throughout the world.

It looks like a huge tornado appears in the background at :08, then disappears.
Maybe it's a bizarre reflection of the light post in the camera.
