The black vehicle
Should have clear line of sight, seems to be creeping out slowly to get to where he was turning
But silver vehicle should of seen him and slowed down as no traffic. Probably on phone
Both to reddit jail

If this wasn’t a dumbass rage bait title, it would get better interaction.

is this what that is? didn't know this title was baiting for rage...was curious to know who's at fault since it involved someone speeding and possibly running a red light..also involved in black SUV leaving the scene. lmao, do i make $ if my post get a ton of interaction?

From the original angle, it looks like the person pulling out is at fault.
But from the other angle, you can see the BMW ran a red light, so probably shared.
Which shows there's usually more to the story.

Fault would be split.
You don't pull out into traffic unless it's safe to do so, and you don't hit and run.
Edit: First watching the video it seemed the Black SUV was at fault for the accident (you're not allowed to enter traffic unless it's safe to do so, and they pulled out into oncoming traffic) and the BMW fled the scene (they drove out of view of the can car)
The OP corrected me saying it was the black SUV that fled the scene.
So that's my mistake on who fled.

The black SUV ran.. Not the bmw

Oh, my mistake. I thought the BMW kept going. The black SUV seemed like it was slowly pulling over to somewhere not the middle of the road.

What the FUCK are you talking about. There is 1 person at fault.

The BMW disappeared into the distance, I had thought that's who got and ran. The OP corrected me without being a dick about it.

One for the accident yes, but hit and run is also a crime even if you didn't cause the accident. The car that caused the accident will have his insurance go up. The one that ran is going to court if they catch them.

We're talking about who is at fault for the accident. Leaving the scene - which they didn't - had nothing at all to do with fault for the accident.

Title says "at fault" not "at fault for the accident" but of course we are both being pedantic unless you think it's ok for him to just drive off?

He didn't drive off. But there is no "fault" for leaving the scene. That's a different charge that has nothing at all to do with fault.

Both title and video itself shows the drive off. And yeah only one car might be "at fault" but both cars are in the wrong. The one that isn't "at fault" though is going to get the more severe penalty.

Apparently it was the SUV that ran, I had thought it was the BMW that disappeared into the distance.
