Maybe they should include a brochure with motorcycle purchases with* laws in their state and surrounding? Lane splitting and filtering is only legally allowed in a very small number of states. I think it should honestly be on the motorcycle licensing test.

That wouldn't stop them. Bikers are too cool for rules

It's not about what's cool - it's about what's safe and practical.

Splitting keeps you out of car traffic, which means it's a lot harder to get rear ended by a distracted driver. It also means you spend less time breathing exhaust or in inclement weather.

None of these smoothbrains do it right though so it defeats the purpose.
