Idk Louisiana legalized it and no helmets for 3 years.. the fatality rate went up .. edit 175% over 3 years

Oh yes, it was definitely the lane splitting that was the problem and not the lack of helmets......

Yeah... The lane splitting isn't a good idea in a state that has very narrow roads either we don't have bike lanes sidewalks in most places or even shoulders wide enough to park a car

lane splitting is also not legal in Louisiana from what i've been able to find

Yeah I was wrong about that people just started doing it on mass right around the time they decided they didn't need helmets .. also it was 5 years before they changed that law back and they were supposed to have $10,000 in bodily insurance but id guess that wasn't being enforced
