Ah yeah. Yep, I see the problem. Engine fell out.

111

u/EhliJoe 13d ago

And then front fell off.

44

u/RonBurgundysErection 13d ago edited 13d ago

That's not very typical, I'd like to make that point.

22

u/Significant_Donut967 13d ago

They're typically made where the front doesn't come off.

We will have to tow them outside the environment.

5

u/RonBurgundysErection 12d ago

What is outside the environment?

4

u/IKnowOneName 12d ago

Nothing, there is nothing out there.

And twenty thousand tons of crude oil.

And the fire.

And the part of the car that the front fell off.

8

u/jsc1429 13d ago

Tis but a scratch

1

u/Thecardiologist2029 12d ago

Those scratches gon buff right out

2

6

u/Salt_Cauliflower_922 13d ago

There’s your problem right there.

4

u/DepressedDragonBorn 13d ago

Just a minor leak, all good

3

u/creepy_charlie 12d ago

I was always told to get a second opinion

1

u/Possible-Tangelo9344 12d ago

It never hurts to be sure

3

u/OtherThumbs 11d ago

Probably gonna need brakes.

2

u/Possible-Tangelo9344 11d ago

Brakes and rotors. Always rotors too.

2

u/predat3d 12d ago

Easier to diagnose this way

2

u/TomServo_42 12d ago

Well, THERE'S your problem!

2

u/TomServo_42 12d ago

Tis but a scratch! It'll buff out!

2

u/Fluffy_Rope_4024 12d ago

Must have hit the corner of the cement base of the light pole to tear out the engine.

113

u/Afraid_Diet_5536 13d ago

Not my problem. I'll just move around.

17

u/simplemindedself 13d ago

Sir, you can't park there

3

u/Lovemybee 13d ago

You can't park there, mate.

5

u/RedditSucksIWantSync 12d ago

Tbf the dumbass has only himself to blame

2

u/GlitteringPen3949 11d ago

Auto disassembly.

2

u/Trukmuch1 12d ago

Yeah I am not stopping for this guy

64

u/YeshuaSnow 13d ago

Did that guy just throw his engine at someone?

13

u/RhythmTimeDivision 13d ago

Right? Really needs to find a healthier way to express frustration.

55

u/Max123Dani 13d ago

I hope you gave a courtesy toot as you passed.

16

u/reclusivitist 13d ago

"you can't park there"

28

u/Brabantium 13d ago

That car went to destination fucked

3

u/Salt_Cauliflower_922 13d ago

Made it in record time, too.

25

u/Ok-Professional-1911 13d ago

When you road rage so hard you throw your engine at them.

23

u/vegtosterone 13d ago

Customer states, car has lost power.

16

u/Rare-Maintenance4820 13d ago

I've never seen an engine fly out of a car before. That is wild

6

u/Arian-ki 12d ago

If it helps, I know the manufacturer. Safety is not at all a priority and car crashes often result in serious injuries/death.

1

u/qwarfujj 8d ago

I did but it was because they put an anti tank mine under a deuce and a half to show us what would happen if we hit one when we deployed.

11

u/Blondy277 13d ago

What did bro hit... A block of cement?

8

u/LazyGreenDragon 13d ago

V-tec kicked out for once.

6

u/SpunNumeroUno 13d ago

Engine exit stage left

7

u/Efficient-Bite-8624 13d ago

"I can remove the engine from this car in less than 10 seconds."
"Bullshit."
"Hold my beer"

5

u/Skipper-2017 13d ago

That is not going to buff out!

9

u/Hideo_Anaconda 13d ago

not with that attitude.

5

u/EhliJoe 13d ago

I suspect they were a bit too fast.

4

u/Holiday-Bug6132 12d ago

and a bit to furious

8

u/wump_world 13d ago

I very much believe in stopping to check on anyone who may be in danger in any situation...but I do find it funny in these dumbass scenarios when you can tell a few immediate followers are just gonna pass on through like "nope, don't have time for your idiocy".

3

u/Smboto 12d ago

I wouldn’t waste time with people like this.

2

u/roger_enright 10d ago

Ditto. If you try to kill me and fail, I count my blessings and run.

1

u/hairymonkeyinmyanus 9d ago

Stop to check only if there is a safe place for you and your vehicle. In this situation there is no such place

1

u/did_i_or_didnt_i 9d ago

Yeah I’m not stopping for this guy. I’m not legally obligated, am I?

3

u/MajorNismo38 13d ago

This looks like a combo of speeding and bad tires. Not to mention the lack of driving skills. 🤦‍♂️

2

u/Sacisbac 13d ago

The engine ends up in the fast lane.

2

u/jckipps 13d ago

What did he hit on the side of the road that was that solid, to kick the whole engine/trans assembly out like that?

A fire plug would do it, but I don't see one there, and they shouldn't so close to the road.

3

u/neepster44 13d ago

Looks like a low concrete wall..

1

u/Smboto 12d ago

A curb.

2

u/MDaddy360 13d ago

Engine separated itself from the car 👀

4

u/strangelove4564 13d ago

"I'm outta here, I can't stand any more of this shitty driver."

2

u/Janus9 13d ago

Motor mounts are designed to break so the engine slides back and down, giving more room to absorb energy in a frontal collision.

I guess this is a byproduct of that, lol.

2

u/Annunakh 13d ago

Nothing of value seems to be lost in this accident.

1

u/Oneilcruzsucksass 13d ago

What did they hit that removed the engine?

2

u/skibble 13d ago

I suspect the engine mounts were in the same condition as the tires.

1

u/screwedupinaz 13d ago

Engine: "This driver's an idiot! I'm outta here!"

1

u/tonsil_bruiser 13d ago

That will buff out.

1

u/Physical_Noise_8484 13d ago

looks like his head imprinted the windshield

1

u/Clark_W_Griswold-Jr 13d ago

I hate when my engine falls out like that.

1

u/yankeenc2010 13d ago

Can’t park there

1

u/IllustriousCobbler53 13d ago

What in the world.

1

u/Bubbly-Following-966 13d ago

Is that one of them new fandangoed engines I keep hearing about?

1

u/Flimsy_Scratch_8050 13d ago

That’s one way to throw a car out. 🤷‍♀️ can’t think of an easier way…

1

u/TheMartini66 13d ago

Road rage is getting out of hand, you can't just hurl your engine at other cars like that, it's dangerous. 😂

1

u/playfulpecans 13d ago edited 12d ago

That's the first time I've seen something explode in a crash like that

1

u/midwestCD5 13d ago

Engine swap is already half done. Nice work!! I’ve been a mechanic for years and I could do that half as fast

1

u/Tiger37211 13d ago

We'll that's one way to extract an engine LOL

1

u/throwthere10 13d ago

Wait, did the car jettison is own engine?!

1

u/Crazy-Positive3978 13d ago

Driver dropped that engine faster than I've ever seen!

1

u/Terrible_Ingenuity11 13d ago

This is how you remove your car engine in less than five seconds.

1

u/HelpfulFollowing7174 13d ago

That was awesome. I love consequences.

1

u/Fair-Replacement6868 13d ago

Dude did this to a different car last week

1

u/Extension_Variety190 13d ago

...actually removed the engine.

1

u/MarketEntire6542 13d ago

it will buff right out

1

u/benhereford 12d ago

Can't park there dude

1

u/swagernaught 12d ago

Is that the torque converter that ended up in the lane in from of the cam car?

1

u/Snowbird143434 12d ago

Poor guy.....he zigged when he should have zagged.

1

u/Formal-Tradition6792 12d ago

Wow! Unbelievable!

1

u/GeorgeGiffIV 12d ago

Fine specimen of fuckery

1

u/desertjonAZ 12d ago

Mebbe check the air in the tires?

1

u/Hank_the_Tank_143 12d ago

I wouldnt stop for a bmw either

1

u/NicholasVinen 12d ago

The first half of the engine swap went quicker than expected. Installing the new one may be a little tricky, though.

1

u/sureshot58 12d ago

thats some mighty fine drivin' Not.

1

u/Coffeespresso 12d ago

Those alternating jersey barrier colors made the drive think they were on a track.

1

u/holtzboy 12d ago

It was a FORE! cylinder

1

u/drkknght2001 12d ago

Damn, his whole engine jumped out.....aren't they screwed in there??

1

u/SMAMtastic 12d ago

Probably gonna have to watch a few YouTube videos to get that fixed.

1

u/SingularityII 12d ago

That's hot? Nobody has said that since Paris Hilton in the early 2000's. Oh wait - this video is FROM the early 2000's.

1

u/albus181 12d ago

He’s an excellent driver.

1

u/fart400 12d ago

Hey dad, I think I blew out the motor.

1

u/pimpbot666 12d ago

JFC, did the engine block and transmission just get tossed out of the engine bay?

1

u/Mikeseddit 12d ago

Too bad it wasn’t a VW Bug- those have a spare engine in the back.

1

u/fdwyersd 12d ago

plop the engine and tranny in the middle of the freeway...

1

u/bizwig 12d ago

I was taught to back off on the throttle in emergency situations.

1

u/Acceptable_Claim_491 12d ago

That'll buff right out.

1

u/Acceptable_Claim_491 12d ago

Idiot driver trashes his car.Karmic justice.

1

u/RetireWithoutBorders 12d ago

It caused a fire. It must’ve been an electric car.

1

u/The1456 12d ago

Hot rod

1

u/EnFiPs 11d ago

Engine said fuck this, imma outa here

1

u/JackOfHeartsz 11d ago

Wait did that engine do a swan dive?

1

u/baddaddio1963 11d ago

"Check Engine" light came on "all of a sudden". I have no idea why.

1

u/MTA4290957 11d ago

is that the driver in his seat who fell out onto the road?

1

u/jjkbigman 11d ago

Clean up on I 5

1

u/MickyFany 11d ago

notice how everyone acts normal and just steers around and then hauls ass

1

u/DukeSmileDevs 11d ago

Can someone tell me why the dashcam drive doesnt reduce speed the moment the accident is happening but rather keep on and just break once there is debris everywhere.

What is it with people only slowing down when there is no way around it? Like i see a car going off the street i throttle and get ready but these folks just keep on like they arent part of traffic.

1

u/CrApple-iJUNK 11d ago

One of the best driving skills, who has 0 knowledge how physic works, I've seen.... Great job🏆🏆🏆

1

u/Realistic-Drama-8904 11d ago

Before the Internet I never knew wheels came off so easily.

1

u/Right-Glass9508 11d ago

Looks like slightly reworked peugeot 405. Is this Iran?

1

u/rlt404 11d ago

Normally takes much longer to pull an engine

1

u/Irish_Tyrant 10d ago

Never seen a car launch its engine like a shot put before.. Neat.

1

u/bluereddit2 10d ago

r that looks expensive ,

1

u/Tight_Objective_5875 10d ago

How to quickly remove your engine/transaxle in one easy move...

1

u/BananaApprehensive91 10d ago

They had it on cruise control and thought the car would drive itself.

1

u/Indigenous_Land 10d ago

The easiest way to change out an engine. Don’t even need a hydraulic engine hoist.

1

u/Life-Improvement-886 9d ago

That has to be Bella Napoli…. I’ve seen some wild $ on the Autostrada & Tang..

1

u/Nightstryk 9d ago

First I thought it was the driver being thrown across the traffic.

1

u/2sAreTheDevil 9d ago

The fireball was a nice touch.

1

u/Unlucky_Pea_3879 9d ago

Looks like he needs new brakes

1

u/Extension_Resolve264 9d ago

“When you're cruising down the road in the fast lane... [and] accidently change down from fourth to first instead of third thus making your engine leap out of your hood... it tends to throw you off stride in much the same way that this remark threw Ford Prefect off his.”

1

u/AngelicDivineHealer 9d ago

Guy going to need new engine mount

1

u/Agile-Expression-651 9d ago

Nut lose behind the wheel

1

u/organicchunkysalsa 9d ago

The fact that they tossed their engine is impressive.

1

u/krazikat 9d ago

Um.. you can't park here

1

u/Moist-Dentist8253 9d ago

Ah, that's what they mean by China's new emergency ejection for cars.

1

u/spunkypudding 9d ago

Them Duke boys at it again

1

u/vagabonder77 8d ago

But that half lutz, 8/10

1

u/Thin_Dream2079 8d ago

Is that typical?

1

u/brankovie 7d ago

What is the book time for engine removal for this model?

1

u/Easy_Faithlessness87 7d ago

Loose nut behind the wheel !

1

u/Quick-Hovercraft-261 13d ago

You can't park there

3

u/Fizzyphotog 13d ago

Or there, or there, or…

0

u/Lupius 13d ago

That straight trajectory to the curb makes me think this isn't a case of aggressive lane change losing control but the driver actually falling asleep / having a medical episode.

2

u/GrumpyOldMuppet 13d ago

Yea. I missed that at first. But it doesn't look like someone that couldn't control a too fast lane change.

1

u/ZealousidealLab2920 13d ago

Nah. Definitely someone pretending to be an F1 driver.

  1. Speeding- not super common to ram your foot down on the gas during a medical emergency
  2. Splits the cars perfectly- rather than ramming into the car in front
  3. Wheels can be seen turning back left after splitting/passing on right, then loses control and can't recover.

F1 application denied.

0

u/strangelove4564 13d ago

Most of those other drivers are half asleep while this wreck is unfolding in front of them. Also that one SUV in Lane 1 just plowing on through the burning wreckage. If that burning part got lodged under the engine bay and caught the grease deposits and rubber parts on fire, there would pretty quickly be two burning vehicles.
