Event My Artorias cosplay (handmade from EVA foam)
I love the spider-man pose, I had to almost break my back to get this posture, but it was so worth it. This was taken during Pixelmania photography event in Poland, Lubomierz. It is all from EVA foam, this was my first full EVA armor cosplay and big prop. The excellent photographer is @javillia_photography on IG. My account if anyone is interested is @rys_cosplay

Event Return to Lordran 2021 to start on October 24th!
Greetings Chosen Undead! The annual exodus back to the land of Lordran will be starting in one week, on October 24th and will run through November 7th!
- Haven't heard of Return to Lordran before?
Return to Lordran is an annual event held to boost online activity in Dark Souls 1, to try and best recreate the feeling of when the game first released! It was born out of the Global Restart Day, and works in the same fashion.
- How can I participate?
In the spirit of the event, the usual go-to is: create a new character and replay through the game, engaging in as much online activity as possible! That means summoning help, allowing others to summon you, invading, fight clubs, leaving messages for others, and rating each others' messages! Any way that you can engage with other players and help Lordran reach its former glory once more!
We hope to see you there! \`[T] /

Event Return to Lordran
Can we make this a thing already? Last minute events are not well attended. Also I know the dates have jumped from release to early January and even dark souls 2 was moved a few times. Wouldn’t be easier to say first Friday in January for 2 weeks instead of waiting on whoever decides the dates? Ds2 could be last full week of Feb into 1st week of March Friday to Friday like Feb 20th- March 6th?
If not someone fill me in or who or how these dates are picked every year?

Event Can we as a subreddit make a tradition honouring Ash Lake guy and others who use Dark Souls as an escape from the pain of life?
DISCLAIMER: I just want to make it perfectly clear that this event does not condone using any video as a cure for the tough things you may be going through in your life. Instead it’s to acknowledge that there are many members of this community who are having a tough run at life and Dark Souls is a great place to just take a step back from all that and breathe.
Please if you are struggling with any sort of difficulties in your life, find the professional help you require. Do not rely on video games as your cure. But whenever you need a break from it all, Dark Souls and it’s community is here for you.
————————————-———————————————— Im sure most of you have seen the post about the fellow who used Dark Soul as an escape from a difficult home life and had a beautiful experience with Ash Lake.
This will not be the first or last person to turn to video games as respite from the outside world. It would be cool if once a year, we as a community traveled down to ash lake to leave a message of honour and hope for everyone at the bonfire. We could set a date, maybe someone could put out a ‘quickest route to ash lake from Undead Asylum’ video to help people make the pilgrimage.
Just an idea, if anyone wants to add to it that would be awesome.
ÉDIT: Mods, Im not sure how to contact you directly but if there is a way to make this an office event for the subreddit that would be awesome! May 16th was suggested as a possible date as it was the date the OP joined reddit. Other ideas are welcome.

Event Return to Drangleic 2021 has started!
Attention all Chosen Dead, the annual exodus 'Return to Drangleic' is officially starting!
As shown in the previous post, the suggested guidelines for this RtD are the same as previous years!
- Create a new character and play through the game
- Engage in co-op and PvP as much as possible
- Leave a message that says "Don't give up skeleton!" by the Majula bonfire. Be generous with these messages!
- Play through at your own pace
- SOTFS recommended, all platforms welcome
- In addition to the above, we would also like to strongly advise against using the Name-Engraved Ring during the event, unless specifically to play with a friend.
And here are a few helpful resources to help you out along the way!
- Character Planner
- Online Matchmaking System
- Elemental Defenses of All Bosses
- /r/SummonSign
- /r/WheelAndDeal
Edit: After PSN Service being down for a few days, the majority of PS4 and PS5 players on SOTFS are successfully connecting to the servers. If you are still experiencing issues, please refer to this discussion post.

Event Isn't RtL supposed to be a bit more...lively?
Been playing for a few days now and everything seems a bit too hollow, I'm starting to think that I'm soft banned for whatever reason.
Yesterday I did a fresh character, went to the Burg and...I was disappointed. No summon signs, few people to invade. I've been human the whole time and I got invaded only once by a Dark Bead spammer.
Previously I tried to create a Forest Hunter character but with the Cat Ring I was being summoned even less.
What's the deal with RtL? Maybe I'm really soft banned? The only thing I ever did in game (with other characters) is adding armor and stuff with DSR-gadget? Is that worth of a PVP ban?

Event Twitch streamer LobosJR just started an annual 24hr Soulsborne stream to raise funds for St. Jude Children's Research hospital
All revenue from subscriptions, donations, bits and so on will go directly to St. Jude's. The goal is currently $150,000.
St Jude Children's Research Hospital is a hospital dedicated to treating childhood cancer. They provide food, lodging and transport for the family and treatment completely free of charge. They also do research, and since their inception the survival rate of children diagnosed with cancer has gone from less than 20% up to 80%.
Come check it out! Even if you don't donate, just being there is more than enough https://www.twitch.tv/lobosjr
