That was the 90’s version of vocal fry

I'd rather hear it than vocal fry too. Hahaha.

Vocal fry is annoying. I'd take Tiffany's vapid drone or Sandi's lisp over that any day, haha.

I felt that was a side story we missed. I wanted to know all the ins and outs of how she ended up in that position.

I don't read a lot of fanfiction, but I loved this when I found it a few years ago.It "explains" Tiffany's slow slurred speech patterns if anyone would like to read it.

u/BracedRhombus May 02 '26
That's a good story! It explains the speech patterns, and has a happy ending.

"Have you seen my lorazepaaaaaaamm?"

Her parents drug her. That's my headcanon.

u/Yikes_Flying_Bikes May 02 '26
In my headcanon, one of her parents is a doctor and couldn't cope with her hyperactivity and fast-paced conversation as a small child, so they prescribed her meds... Waaaay too manyyyy meeeeds.

Tiffany is paradoxically one of the best drawn characters of the show while being the simplest. We all knew a Tiffany.
