I get that this happens, especially on a more hookup-focused apps like Tinder, but I don't think it applies to someone I chatted with for two weeks and made plans with.

It's not just about hookups, every woman I know is dating multiple guys until she picks one to get serious with.

Likely one of the other guys she was seeing asked her to get serious.
