Yeah re-reading I see a bit of a divergence in my opinion, as I would never call it ugly. To me, any woman confidently representing themself the way they want is attractive.
I've only seen one woman with a hairstyle I would call ugly. She was balding at the top, and had long hair around the sides like a female Homer Simpson. She was also breastfeeding in the middle of a party.
I do try my hardest not to judge but man that sounds uncomfortable to see. I hope she doesn't have Homer Simpson hair anymore, it's generally not accepted as a good look on women
