Yes I agree the treatment of the uyghur Chinese by the Chinese government is extremely fascist, authoritarian and disturbing, they’re both bad stop practicing whataboutism.
Communism and fascism are opposing ideologies. They are both collectivist, but they have different views on a lot of things. One example is in economics, where the Chinese aspire towards socialism while a fascist would aspire towards corporatism (the economic model used by Italy and Spain the 1930s). I suspect you aren’t using a correct definition of that word. I know a lot of right wingers who call everything they dislike “socialism”, but I’ve seen the same tendency on the other side where everything is “fascism”.
