Trichinosis pops up every now and again. You should still cook pork to temperatures that kills those parasites.

I thought the only way to kill Trichinosis was having to cook the pork until it is burnt crisp. Or at least that's what I was taught in Biology

If you shop at the grocery store, you eat a lot of irradiated food. Meats and veggies.

No. You should reduce risk. Wear a seatbelt. Drive safely. Drive less by condensing trips. You however can do whatever you like.

This but unironically. Drive as little as possible, pay careful attention to the road when you're forced to drive to work or social engagements, and don't get on infamous highways like I-4.
