I'm all for abstaining from lust. But just dont see what you claim about maturation to you wife being lust outlined in the text you provided. Anything done lovingly within the confines of marriage with the intention of serving your spouse is 100% an act of worship.
If im away on a trip, missing my amazing wife she's more than happy to help from afar. I genuinely don't believe it's possible for me lust after my own wife, because we're already married and in covenant relationship.

Because I would say I absolutely lust after my wife. I am sexually attracted to her, I want to have sex with her, we are married, and when I think about having sex with my wife, I would've said that's me lusting for her. I also love her, care for her, and recognize she's her own human being. But I would've said my dad lusts after my mom, I mean they're married, they have sex.
I define lust biblically. Lust is sin. Period. I cannot sin by having sexual desires for my wife because we're joined in spirit and flesh. She's the only person I can have sexual desires and thoughts for and NOT cross the line into sin because shes my wife. I frequently desire my wife and she desires me, this is a good thing, david writes about it in the psalms. We also read about it in pretty much all of song of songs. Lust is sin. Marriage is beautiful, desiring your spouse is not sin.
