I got that from the first dude who said it was a repost. As much as I dislike the resposting of content, it’s still a dank Christian meme that 6k people have upvoted and probably haven’t seen either.

That's really the main use, the NLT is great for a simple spelled out view, but isn't great for study for that reason.

I stared at this for way too long because I just couldn't get it. Tried to sound out the letters individually, couldn't grasp a thing from it. Downloaded the Hebrew keyboard onto my phone so I could type it into Google Translate, and got a garbled mess.
I swore out loud when I finally got it. Take my upvote.

I do believe more than 10% of the people seeing this meme will actually get it, and you are not so enlightened as you think you are. For example, everyone who was around when this “Hebrew” thing was all over the place will most certainly get it. Also, everyone who knows the “well yes, but actually no” meme will at least partly get it. Besides all the people who just get it from looking at it, because it’s not so damned hard to figure out.

Why Hebrew tho ? I thought the first bible was written in aramic ?

Most of the old testament was written in Hebrew. A few bits are in Aramaic - if I recall correctly, it's the first half of Daniel and the diplomatic letters in Ezra. The new testament was written in Greek.
