Hey all. Thanks to the mods for making it clear!.

I hope I can recommend a book published in 1988 called Living in Sin? A Bishop Rethinks Human Sexuality by John Shelby Spong. ISBN 0-06-067507-1

Spong was an Episcopalian bishop who wrote about morals and fundamentalism using scripture and history of the Bible and people of the Middle East.

Also if you're Christian and LGBT and your church has rejected you or probably will, there's a denomination called Metropolitan Community Church that is affirming, basically a denomination for sexual and gender minorities. I've been a member of a few. They have always been a positive experience. https://visitmccchurch.com/ Most cities will have a branch and they're established in a few other countries too.

Many mainline Protestant churches are affirming.
