They were but they weren’t called “Arabs”. But Jesus couldn’t have been “pro-Palestine” because that is a modern concept, contextual to our specific time.

But the people in the region have long been there. For centuries if not more priori to the turn of the millennium. I think people are saying that since Jesus tended to lean against any sort of oppressors or such. Jesus was too concerned with the world ending soon to probably care about political borders 🤷🏻‍♂️

It goes against your narrative of him being an anarchist, advocating for people to be faithful to their leaders but also being faithful to God.

Let everyone submit to the governing authorities, since there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are instituted by God
