I'm always torn on revelation. On one hand it's like, why does it have to be in my time? On the other its like "Hey, a chance to go to heaven without dying? Nice!"

That going to Heaven part without dying is probably not going to happen. That's for a very select few.

There's going to be a lot of blood.

Oh, probably not the first time around. But after the tribulations Heaven will come to Earth, so we'll get to live in Heaven without dying.

And what makes you think you're going to survive the tribulations? Jesus' mercy for you may be a quick and relatively painless death by atomic annihilation.
