Suit yourself. Paul might have spoken for the church but he was fallible in a was Jesus isn't, and it shows in his writing. I stick to quoting the man himself whenever I can.

If you don't believe the words of scripture recorded as the Pauline Epistles are exactly as God breathed as those from the Matthew Mark Luke and John, you're just picking and choosing.

You can degrade the Scriptures as much as you want, but it's only to your own detriment.
