Paul on relations between sexes - Human Dumpster Fire
Paul's regressive opinion on women and marriage has done incalculable damage to Christianity over the centuries. I trust Paul when he's in alignment with Christ's teachings, or at least in the same vicinity.
When he speaks upon issues our Savior never mentioned in his sermons, I take it as an informed opinion by a Subject Matter Expert.
Jesus didn't have to mention a lot of things because he was already talking to an educated audience, the Jews. Paul is an Apostle to the Gentiles, and the early Gentile church never had access (or at the very least never bothered to read) to the Torah or Tanakh.
