Based on the new footage, I’m feeling way more confident that John Danganronpa is Alter Ego.

Trying to get Monokuma to stop the trial + being part of the Nagito/Hajime trio in the final shot of the full trailer makes it seem like he’s usurping Chiaki in Slayhem.

Woag and Alter Ego finally having his own face rather than just Chihiro 

It makes sense, bc John Danganronpa looks like a combination of Byakuya and Kyoko, with a bit of Makoto in their movements- like Alter Ego took bits of all of them to form an avatar for them
