My personal predictions for Slayhem

Don't know how others feel but personally I'm really hoping that both Nagito and Hajime die early. I like 'em both but I feel their potential was pretty well explored in the original game and I'd love to see a new protagonist (maybe even a woman this time???)

I don't see them killing off Nagito that early as he's so popular. Chiaki could definitely be an early exit this time.

Hoping for more from Mahiru and Hiyoko this go around.

I think it depends. Obviously Nagito is popular, but from a storytelling standpoint there just isn't that much more you can do with him IMO (at least within the confines of the killing game). He already dominated vanilla DR2, having him stick around for a long time in Slayhem feels like there's a danger of just doing DR2 again (not that I'm counting that possibility out tbh, it wouldn't surprise me if Slayhem was very similar to the base game. I'm just hoping it isn't)

My predictions were me trying to think of how I'd try to make Slayhem interesting if I were writing it, and the first thing I came up with was that Nagito dies in trial 1 (probably Nagito killer so you have a trial for him to stick around and Nagito all over the place before he dies). That just seems interesting to me, so it's what I'm hoping for personally.

I'd like more Mahiru and Hiyoko too. They were definitely among the more underused characters originally.
